There's a serious decline in every position after the top 25 or so players. Pujols stands out as the guy that needs to get drafted at some point but he's not exactly the guy that anyone wants to take. He could have a big rebound though.

I also knew he would not make it back to me. I'm hoping Razzball and a few other sites are right in predicting a serious bounce back season now that he is healthy again.

I don't think ellsbury was a reach at all, he is very capable of first round production. And now he gets to call that band box his home....wow....

I meant as far as ADP's go. I totally understand why you took him.

Can't say I was all that excited about my options there either. Probably would have went with Longoria if he didn't get taken right before my pick...

You have to read the blurb to see what Grey really thinks...his philosophy is that you don't need to take pitching in the first two rounds, so he ranks Kershaw low knowing full well that anyone following his rankings won't ever take him.

He's actually pretty good, in my opinion. He makes some good calls usually (he was a huge fan of Goldschmidt last year, and Adam Jones), but with all experts, he also makes some bad ones (Josh Rutledge being a terrible one last year!).

Totally understand about the pitching, very deep this year a lot of good pitching out there. But pujols at 12? this guy must really think pujols is back....I think slotting him between 20 and 25 would have been giving pujols the benefit of the doubt because of who he is. But hey, dood's got to make a living right?....lol

I was hoping Upton would make it back down to me...this is the first year where I think I like him a little more than most people.

I just couldn't pass up on him there. He's still only 26 years old. I like it

Would either of you taken Bruce > Upton? Bruce is 27, has more power, slightly less reliable in BA perhaps...
