I'm not really stoked about all that much in my draft.

On the pitching side I'm pleased with getting Nate Jones and Wade Miley when I did, even though I took both ahead of their ADP. I needed both. I was also happy when I got Beachy but obviously not thrilled now :~( I'm not sure what to make of the closers overall. We waited on them as a league so their was value IF you wanted it. I'm kinda kicking myself for not being a bit more aggressive there.

As for bats I got a pair of proven high ceiling studs at a bit of an ADP discount (Tulo and Kemp) but wow there is some real risk there. If I strike gold and both accrue 550+ healthy AB (odds = million to one) my offense will be strong. One guy I really needed and got was multi versatile Prado given all the injuries and risks in my lineup. If injuries really kill me I'm going to need big contributions from later picks like Melky, Morse, and Fowler to have a chance to advance to masters. One hitting side note that will help in my $ draft: this draft revealed something I wasn't fully aware of - quality options at 1B runs out sooner than past seasons. Lots of meh if you wait on the position.

I really like your team Dan, you opened with Cano/Tulo and I've always loved the idea of starting a team strong up the middle and picking the best pitcher next, which you did. And you took the guy I would have taken there too. I had more fun watching Jose pitch than anyone else, his stuff is super filthy and he makes MLB hitters look like little leaguers with his rising fastball. And that game against the Braves late in the season LOL ranked up there as one of the most memorable regular season games for me.

I feel like every pitcher I almost took is already out for the year now that JJ is gone.

Pineda getting a suspension is karma coming back to kick me in the butt. That's what I get for drafting a yankee. The rest of my staff is a blown UCL ticking timebomb. Hopefully Cueto can have one of his healthy seasons (knock on rubber) ((pitchers don't knock on wood))

I drafted a bunch of guys who are really fun to watch play. Puig is a show within a show that is the L.A. super-team. Greinke is the most disrespected tier A ace and will probably finish the year with 21 wins and 220 Ks. Gordon and currently Uribe (Yes, Uribe and that long windmill hack he has) are just as fun to watch play.

I may not win the league but I feel confidant I finish top 5. Who's coming to the masters with me??? No one cares if you're AAA MVP you gotta be in the bigs to do something that matters, right Billy Hamilton?

Pick the least happy with: Damn Uggly, 2B, ATL

My shot in the dark: Gordon/Davis combine for 100 steals.

My 1st DL'd player - Jesse Crain }:-)

Gordon - 64 Steals
Davis - 36 Steals
100 on the nose!

Like every year I was wrong on a lot of predictions and right on very few, but the pinpoint accuracy of that one is kinda cool!! :-B
