Injuries kill you in this league, people who've played in this league know that thus the Headley and Cueto slips.

Pretty close to mine except for Dashiz who is near the bottom.

Is there a neutral guy who will nominate for me if Havok posts during the wee hours? I am hitting the sack in 45 minutes. Otherwise I won't be checking in until about 11am est.

EDIT....never mind

Meh. I already had Hamels as my #3 and didn't want another potential injury risk, especially with the way Cueto throws.

I was debating Cueto and CC. Then I remembered this is just a 5x5 and we count Ws in this league. So I went with CC.

With a career K/9 @ 7.03 and only having eclipsed 180 IPs 2/6 years in MLB I don't see how Cueto is the super duper awesome steal of a pick everyone is clamoring on about. I felt he went right about where he should've.

I think potential injuries scare people off a bit too much. There is no safe player to me there are only healthy players and unhealthy players. Healthy players with an injury history usually already go low enough. We do get to replace them with another arm or bat, theres always someone useful popping up on the waiver wire in April. Its the injuries during July and August that seem to kill me.

I'm not liking CC much either. Samardzija went a round lower than either CC or Cueto and he's a more rewarding proposition. That's probably the pick of this draft thus far.
