I feel like he could do worse just to spite that comment.

He'll get his own jerk thread and fittingly, no one will be able to comment on it because it's in GC.

I googled (undraftable) jerk. No surprise to see the jerk thread, but I forgot all about this thread (let alone that I commented on it), which ranked second.

Izenhart wins.

Red Sox were the last in 1959, 12 years after Jackie Robinson started.
Joe Cronin refused to trade for or draft a black player and famously passed on Willie Mays.
Red Sox suck.

Cronin would have passed on BJ Upton

I was hoping to land Brad Miller in the next round.

I would have taken Miller this round, had it not been for my concern about him not winning the SS job (or even turn into potential trade bait). He's a better for-average hitter and the superior defensive SS but what I'm reading into doesn't give me great confidence. I might be reading too much into it though.

I'm a little worried about that, but the odds of Miller winning the job seem good to me. A trade doesn't seem like a bad outcome -- even if Miller gets moved, I like his chances of being a regular. But I might not be reading enough into it. :-D
