In 1947 there were
2 boston teams
Brooklyn
2chigago teams
Cincinnati
Cleveland
Detroit
2NY teams
2Philly teams
Pittsburgh
2 StLouis teams

Sorry, I missed the "of the teams in existence" part.

New guess: Detroit, 1967.

I think I heard once the Boston GM was a huge racist, so I'm guessing my hometown.

I was going to guess Cincy.

Cincy is the the 'whitest' city in America but the Red Sox were the 'whitest' in baseball. 1960/61 ?

BJ Upton- could be a huge pick, or a flat out bust. Don't blame you for taking a shot at this point in the draft. But if he does this season what he did last season, at this point next year he will be undraftable.

I expect he will be a nice get for you.

At this point, I'd say he's medium risk/medium reward. You aren't going to get hurt too bad by taking him here, and his ceiling isn't really that high, so the rewards are decent but not anything huge. I could end up wrong, but I don't see him returning to even 75% of his 2012 numbers.

I thought about it but he was a complete disaster last year. I couldn't pull the trigger.

Bad Upton can't get any worse than last season, but I don't see him rebounding too greatly (15 HR, 20 SB, .230-240 BA).

At this point we're almost 200 players in and there are flags on everyone. Everyone left is pretty much a "flier" pick
