I'm in a 6X6 (OPS/HLD) 25 player 20 team league where you keep 22 players each year. I got 10th place last year (top 6 make playoffs), so I have the 11th pick in our 3 round slow draft. I'm probably going to drop Ichiro, Hale, and Petit since I can only keep 22.

C - Jason Castro
1B - Allen Craig
2B - Brett Lawrie
3B - Nolan Arenado
SS - Ian Desmond
LF - Starling Marte
CF - Andrew McCutchen
RF - Yasiel Puig
Util - Victor Martinez
Util - Evan Gattis
Util - Adam Eaton
BN - J. Rutledge
BN - Ichiro Suzuki

SP - Matt Cain
SP - Mike Minor
RP - Sergio Romo
RP - David Robertson
P - Alex Wood
P - Hiroki Kuroda
P - Patrick Corbin
P - Michael Wacha
BN - Ian Kennedy
BN - Cody Allen
BN - Yusmeiro Petit
BN - David Hale

For a 20 team league this is a very good squad with upside -Lawrie, Arenado, Puig, Wacha.

The biggest weakness is power so that's what you probably should target in your mini draft, if you can.

I would keep Rutledge and hope he can bounce back. I think you've properly identified your 3 drops.

If you stay healthy I'd almost guarantee you will finish better than 10th this year.
