I'm thinking the extended draft is the way to go. I'm leaning towards an 18 hour time limit. I'm thinking everyone should be able to handle that.
Lots of good input from folks. THANKS!!

The first time owners do a slow draft can be really frustrating for first timers. A few owners will be avail as soon as they get the e-mail and some won't be around for many hours at a time. Try to prepare the league for this and there will still be hard feelings and frustration. Having guys post when they'll be gone or at least back and have guys say when they are headed to bed or done for the day helps incredibly. The more the league talks and can leave you short lists sounds odd but it can really help with hard feelings and keep the draft moving. Some days you'll get 2 1/2 or 3 rounds done and sometimes it'll only be 1/2 a round and some owners won't get 1 pick that day. It gets easier every year you do it and some guys will hate it but for a busy world where it is nearly impossible to get a whole league together 1 afternoon or evening a slow draft is a great alternative. There is also something to be said for having time to research and consider every pick w/o having to do it in 90 seconds. Prepare the league and get them to communicate their schedule will help some. good luck
