Twins rookie C Mauer to undergo knee surgery

MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) - Minnesota Twins rookie catcher Joe Mauer has a torn meniscus cartilage in his left knee and will be sidelined indefinitely.
Twins general manager Terry Ryan confirmed on Wednesday that Mauer, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 draft, will undergo surgery at a date to be determined.

Why is that a Fantasy Nightmare? An unproven rookie catcher gets hurt. Sure, it does hurt teams in large leagues, but hardly what I would call a fantasy nightmare.
