Not in the HOF? He dominated the 90's like very few have dominated a decade. He's in the Hall of Fame for sure, how can you call it an embarassment? Just because he was injured doesn't mean he wasn't one of the best ever. Don't forget his defense - he was a great CF not just a great hitter. I'd say as of now, he should get in. If he manages to play a few hundred more games over the next 5 years, and gets to 600 HR, 2500 hits, 200 SB's, then he's a lock.
