Fullmer played yesterday against Mulder so he isn't going to sit against every lefty.

They will both platoon.

It's just easier to predict when Fullmer sits than with Phelps.

Fullmer won't play too often against lefties. Yesterday v Mulder was more the exception than the rule. He's a .300 career hitter vs righties and barely a .220 against lefties.
