Attempting to load up his lineup with lefties, Pinella will DH Robert Fick and play Aubrey Huff at third base every now and then against right-handed pitching. Good news for Huff owners; he'll be eligible at 1B, OF, and soon 3B.

huff teased fantasy owners last year playing something like 8 games there. i think he will still fall short of the 15 needed for yahoo eligibility but those with lesser requirements may find themselves with a new 3b.

This is a big deal for ESPN leagues. In ESPN leagues you need to start 3 games or make 5 appearances for position elligibility. If a player reaches those requirements, not only are they elligible for this year, but they will also be elligible at that position the next year.
So in Huff's case (who I drafted this year in a keeper league), he was already elligible at 3B for this season. Two more starts at third, and he'll be elligible there next year as well.

Don't get too exicted about "Huff Daddy" just yet; he looked horrible in the field so far today, committing an era on a routine ground ball. This expeiment could be over pretty quick.

No harm done though. Just a grounder off the heel of his glove.. I know from experience, sometimes the most "rountine" plays are the toughest to make.

Just makes Huff even more valuable if he qualifies at 3B
