Longoria trade

Postby Philly_05 » Wed Dec 11, 2013 10:39 pm

12 team league fantasy point scoring $40 for keepers. Players range from $3 to $0. I would trade Danny Salazar who is $2 and Desmond Jennings who is $3 for Evan Longoria who is $3. I was going back and forth lately on keeping neither or both these guys. But I know I could really use Longoria at my UT spot. These are the majority of the players i'm thinking of keeping. Should I go on Longoria for those two or ask for a little more with him? We start 4 OF by the way. UT can't be a OF. I'm waiting to hear back on getting Puig for Cain/+ deal as well.

Possible Keepers
C- Gary Sanchez $1
1B- Anthony Rizzo $3
2B- Jose Altuve $3
3B- Miguel Cabrera $3
SS- Hanley Ramirez $3
SS- Xander Bogaerts $2
OF- Jason Heyward $3
OF- Domonic Brown $3
OF- Gregory Polanco $1
3B- Miguel Sano $1
SP- Matt Cain $3
SP- Chris Sale $3
SP- Jose Fernandez $3
SP- Zack Wheeler $2
SP- Taijuan Walker $2
SP- Michael Pineda $2
RP- Trevor Rosenthal $2

3B/OF- Joey Gallo $0
SS- Carlos Correa $0
SP- Lucas Giolito $0
SP- Mark Appel $0
SP- Braden Shipley $0

That is a great trade for you. Gives you some flexibility to make a deal for another keeper by dealing some depth. But getting a top 25 player and not having to give up one in return is a good way to make trades.

Still hasn't got to the trading block. I think I scared him off by accept his offer without trying to get more out of him or give less. Normally it's quite a dance to get this guy to trade. So him offering and then backing out isn't really shocking. I might have to up the offer to get him back at the table.

Try jennings, salazar and cain (a bit overrated) you'd get some freed up funds (you have young pitching that can step in for cheaper).
