For J-up?? Then that leaves me with a big hole in RF!

Get Hunter for cheap. He's a very good short term solution.

I think I would try and get Machado in the deal. If that means you also have to take Markakis to cover RF then I would pull the trigger. But really if you could get Machado and Everth and then deal Zimmeran or Hanley for a RF then it works out for you.

You have had a ton of offers for Hanley so getting Cabrera makes that easier to lose him.

I would definitely explore moving him. I however, would not like to move Hanley if I had him. He had some fluky injuries last season, otherwise looking like a legit beast. I have him ranked as the #1 SS in 2014. I'm fine with the offer than you made. I would be more interested in flipping Everth for a SP/RF once the season got closer or even during the season.

Yeah, I think I'm sticking with Hanley just because he is too good to give up.

but the upton, E-santana, moustakas for machado, ecabrera, and markakis trade works for you?

Would you drop it down to just upton for machdo and markakis/THunter?

I'm thinking the fewer pieces involved the more likely I can get a deal done.

I am perfectly fine with that deal. I actually slightly prefer Cabrera to Moose, but if that's the deal breaker for the other guy I am fine with you cutting those players out of it.
