Maybe at the beginning of the contract (i'm hoping for that in fantasy) but I'm talking about the last 2+ yrs of the contract. He seems to be breaking down.

Money isn't an issue in NY. Its looking like they'll be able to have an extra 25 million when Arod gets suspended. I think the Yankees will cross the bridge when they come to it as far as MT and McCann are concerned. The money being handed out is nothing new. In our eyes the length and amounts are too most much but that's pretty standard these days.I'm not surprised by anything anymore when it comes to what teams are paying. If they have the money they spend it. Its doesn't always translate into a title but it won't stop them from trying.
I think NY is a great landing spot for McCann. He's a dead pull hitter. His pop ups will head up going out in right.
