So just regular waiver wire pickup, in waiver order, and we have 5 options to move extra players to MILB squad?

I would probably vote against it, but am not 100% opposed...

not sure what u mean here, but i'll write it out again anyways.
it sounds like we can add and drop players as we like. the only catch is that with prospects who aren't on our farm team before the season, we only get to add 5 of them during the season, and only if they've been called up by their real mlb clubs. those 5 prospects, as well as your other prospects that you drafted in the off-season, can be moved up and down all season long, as many times as u'd like.

I understand the concept ... Let me give example... You and I both want Abreu in season... Who gets him ? How will that be determined?

from what i understand, it's just like any waiver pickup, so whoever is higher up on the waiver list will get him.

i was in touch with sportsguy. he said that ALL free agents or the 5 in-season prospects go through waivers. so if two of us want the same prospect, whoever is higher up on the waiver wire list will get him.

So is the 5 in season rookies a given now?

it seems pretty set in stone to me. it's a good idea, and i don't think sportsguy ever wanted it up for discussion anyways.

Sounds good.. So only thing to be decided is how we determine who can be drafted as rookie?

nope. it has all been decided. we're going with the 40 man rosters, and with all the footnotes we've added through the league chat.
rvthd has posted the official rules regarding the matter on the "league constitution" page. we worked on it together with sportsguy, so it is official.

Okay, so it is a waiver process for the in season MiLB. Couple of questions, then:
1. Is this using the reverse order of the MiLB draft or is there a single waiver order that will apply to MiLB and MLB?
2. For waiver claims for MLB players I would think the players will be in the Yahoo database and requests will be posted to the website. However, for MiLB player that are not in the website what is the process?
3. Will players only be available via waivers and if so is there a weekly waiver date? My experience in the past was that free agents could be added on a first come first served basis but that players that have been dropped go through the waiver process. Just want to make sure I am clear on how this league will be set-up.

I re-read the League Constitution, and am a bit confused. Are we using 5x5 ROTO scoring, but having weekly H2H contests? Or is it traditional 5x5 ROTO with stats kept for the whole year, with daily lineups set?
