It'll be interesting to see how Mattingley will piece the pen together if Nolasco cannot give him 6+. Ricky has struggled lately and gets owned by McCann. Brian Wilson is fresh, but everyone else (outside of Kenley) has thrown a lot.

Uribe's inability to bunt could have saved Mattingley's job ... oddly enough. If the bunt attempt doesn't lead to the tying run scoring and the Dodgers lose game 4 and go on to game 5 and get defeated ....

Maybe I'm over thinking it, but it was one of the first things that went through my head when Uribe first squared around.

True. Some of Mattingly's decisions could have potentially cost him the series and his job. Thankfully, Fredi Gonzalez one-upped Mattingly with his reluctance to trot out Kimbrel for a 6-out save at the first sign of trouble.
