Play-In Games will always count toward the regular season and there can be more than one of them. Meaningless late season rainouts are often not made up, so it's possible for the regular season of a given team to be less than 162 games, as well.

Can't you also choose to end your fantasy season like a week early...at least in some leagues you can...that might be an option for those that don't like the 1 extra or less game.

In all our commish leagues we just post standings as final Monday afternoon and disreguard any changes that might occur Monday night
CBS adds a feature then a year or 2 after Yahoo follows suit the last few years it seems

OnRoto.com allows for changing the end of season date and is a much better service than either CBS or Yahoo, in my opinion.
