I don't see how either guy would crack your lineup in either case. You're not taking out Votto, and Choo is a better utility option than either of those guys. If you're just looking for bench strength, I guess I lean towards Butler on past precedent, but it might also depend on what categories you are more in need of.

I would rather have Butler. He has been more consistent than Morales recently, and Butler is playing very well at the moment.

Would actually take Morales here....He's been hot and Seattle's offense has been much better recently....I think Morales has higher HR upside. Plus I think Safeco plays more hitter friendly in Aug than in earlier in the year when it's colder.
