In need of OF depth - how much can I get for J Upton? WHIR!

With Carlos Gonzalez just going down, I all of a sudden have a giant need for OF.

I am considering swapping Justin Upton for two OF. First, should this even be an option?

This is the deal I have started:
MY -- Justin Upton, Jimmy Rollins, and Adam Lind/James Loney (can't decide)
FOR
HIS -- Starling Marte, Michael Cuddyer, and Stephen Drew

Hope to be upgrading SS a bit, and bringing in two solid OF will go a long way. I have so many 1B I can definitely part with Lind or Loney.

13 Position Spots-11 Pitching Spots-6 Bench-5 DL

My Batters:
C - Carlos Santana
1B - Adam LaRoche
2B - Dustin Pedroia
3B - Pablo Sandoval
SS - Jimmy Rollins
CI - Justin Morneau
MI - Chase Utley
LF - Carlos Gonzalez (DL)
CF - Mike Trout
RF - Justin Upton
OF - Ben Zobrist
OF - Jayson Werth
UTIL - James Loney
BN - Michael Young
BN - Jon Lucroy
BN - Adam Lind
BN - Billy Hamilton

His:
C - Brian McCann
1B - Napoli
2B - Aaron Hill
3B - Ryan Zimmerman
SS - Jose Reyes
CI - Josh Donaldson
MI - Stephen Drew
LF - Starling Marte
CF - Curtis Granderson
RF - Jose Bautista
OF - Michael Cuddyer
OF - BJ Upton
Util - Adam Dunn
BN - Kyle Seager
BN - Rajai Davis
BN - Ian Desmond
BN - De Aza

Thanks for any help. WHIR always. Leave a link.

This deal looks to me like you're trading power for speed. Neither side is really that much better then the other. I'd hate to part with J Upton right when he's finally heating up again but we do what we must in fantasy baseball. Drew and Rollins are pretty much equal in my mind, I don't feel you're getting much of an upgrade with Drew. Also Rollins may get traded as hes already cleared waivers.

Who's on free agency? I hate trading down talent for quantity, which is what it looks like is happening here just so you get some OF balance. Is Josh Reddick available? 5 HR in last 2 games, could ride him while he's hot. Michael Brantley is underrated. Definitely some others you can jump on here and there and dump when they're cold. That's always my approach. Consolidate your talent to the ranks of the elite and fill in the back end with hot bats. Roster rotation always makes for a better team.
