Keeper needed.

Postby Knighthammer » Thu Aug 08, 2013 1:05 pm

It's been a long, grueling season. So much so that I'm looking at my keepers now. Please rank the following as potential keepers:

Cats are R, AVG, HR, RBI & SB
A. Craig
L. Martin
Y. Puig
C. Davis
E. Encarnacion
C. Utley
M. Holliday
A. Hill
B.J. Upton

We keep 4 & I don't have any dominating SP to possibly keep.

Thanks for looking!!! ;-D

1. Edwin Encarnacion -- better K:BB than Davis by a long shot = better BA potential
2. Chris Davis -- if the HR drop by a little (say, only 35-40 next year) then his BA will fall noticeably
3. Allen Craig -- great BA and RBI machine. Yes, he's injury prone and could slot after Puig, but I like him a lot
4. Yasiel Puig -- plays too recklessly, terrible plate discipline, sky's the limit
5. Matt Holliday -- ol' reliable
6. Aaron Hill -- I'm a big fan of Hill, could slot him over Holliday
7. B.J. Upton -- Could end up in the top 3 next year, he's that talented
//
14. Chase Utley
//
17. Leonys Martin

Sarcasm with Utley and Martin, but they shouldn't even be considered.

I think you got 4 no-brainers in E5, Puig, Crush, and Craig. If I had to rank them I'd go Davis, E5, Puig, Craig but they're all top 50 players imo.

Help with mine please? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=463873
