Jose Fernandez for Yasiel Puig? ~WHIR~

H2H league, 6x6 categories. R, HR, RBI, AVG, SB, TB | W, QS, ERA, K, SV, WHIP

Long-term keeper, both Puig and Fernandez are $1. What do you think, in a vacuum?

I'd always risk the hitter over the pitcher, even in this circumstance.

Thanks for the help with mine.

No brainer--keep Puig. I always prefer the position player over SP. pitchers are much more unpredicatable year over year with poor performance and/or injury. You can almost always find pitchers more easily than top notch position players. Keep Puig. As a point of perspective, in my 3-person keeper league, one manager just traded Puig for Cano to give you an idea of how he's being valued.

Puig, but in terms of value long term, Fernandez is not far behind him.

Thanks all. I will stick with Puig. Fernandez' last two starts were sensational though! But, I do tend to side with the hitter over the pitcher as well. Puig is already making adjustments, particularly with his plate discipline. He walked twice last night. That bodes well for his future in the league.
