Wright injured! what to do, please help, H2H 10-team

Postby JoshuaHavok » Sun Aug 04, 2013 11:50 am

Everyone,
in a H2H 10-team keeper (keep12) with 30 moves, the stats are pretty balanced 9 for hitters, 8 for pitchers.

David Wright just hit the DL for 3-5 weeks which leaves me with a hole in my lineup (and my heart...haha) I have to find a replacement off the Wire and at the same time, was thinking of picking up Nick Franklin and dropping Hellickson, what do you guys think?

Please any advice or comments are welcomed, and thank you in advance.

Wire: C. Johnson, M. Young, K. Johnson (are all 3B options, not a lot out there, any young guys recommended? also avail but not 3B = N. Aoki, De Aza, N. Franklin, M. Byrd, S. Victorrino, C. Quentin, J. Smoak,

This is my team:
C - Joe Mauer
1B - Joey Votto
2B - Jason Kipnis
3B - EMPTY
SS - Ian Desmond
CI - Paul Goldschmidt
MI – Jose Altuve
LF - Matt Holliday
CF - Andrew McCutchen
RF - Jay Bruce
Util-A. Rizzo
Bn - Ryan Braun (na)
DL - David Wright

SP – Homer Bailey
SP - Corey Kluber
SP – Kris Medlen
RP - Craig Kimbrel
RP –Casey Janssen
P - Glen Perkins
P - A. Chapman
BN - j. Hellickson
BN- J. Parker
Bn-J Samardzija
Bn - John Lackey
Bn - Brandon Beachy
DL- Alex Cobb

Well bud Nick Franklin is your best bet due to his power speed combo that would most effectively give you what Wright was giving you. Why does no one like this guy? I mean 20/20 guy has multi-position eligibility. Heck...you get Franklin I would consider moving Kipnis for a stud starter (if you have a late deadline, move Franklin to that spot and grab CJ for 3b who is basically on fire).
