8 Team League, Currently 5th.

My TEam:
C: WIlson Ramos
1B: Kendrys Morales
2B: Evereth Cabrera (Biogenesis may be coming)
3b: Longoria
SS: Tulo
OF: Mike Trout
OF: Andrew Jones
OF: Hunter Pence
OF: Alex Rios
Util: Aaron Hill
Util: Michael Brantley
BN: Machado
BN: Gyorko

RPs are set.
SPs: Hisashi Iwakuma; Gio Gonzalez (Biogenesis may be coming); Shelby Miller; Madison Bumgarner; Chris Archer; and Jeff Samardzija

Offered the following:
SS: Jose Reyes
OF: Jacoby Ellsbury
1b: Freddie Freeman
SP: David Price

I give:
SS: Tulo
OF: Adam Jones
OF: Mike Trout

I would drop Morales or Gyorko and try to trade Samardzija in a two for one package.

Thoughts? WHIR, please leave a link.

Thanks!!

Thanks for replying to my post. First, I assume you own Adam Jones and not Andruw Jones, correct? Based on that assumption, this is a really difficult trade to analyze. In general, i don't like deals where I get more players in return for what I give... But that aside, I guess I'm wondering just how much the addition of David Price helps your pitching stats. Of course, if you lose Gio, than it would be big to get price as another quality arm.

Looking at the rest of the deal, I would personally have to pass. Mike Trout is arguably the number 1 fantasy player in the game. Between he, Jones and Tulo, you have 3 hitters who are all projected to be in the top 15 for the remainder of the year. Trout projected to be #1, the other two come in at 14 and 15 respectively. Granted, it's just one ESPN analyst's projections...but still, you're not getting even one guy who projects to finish in the top 20 for the remaining games and you're giving up the best player in all of fantasy baseball? Sorry, it's a clever trade proposal but I'd rather be on the other side of that deal.

Just gonna say it: this would be a terrible deal for you. Terrible. Pass.
