Corbin or Bailey in a dynasty league?

Postby pjalst » Wed Jul 24, 2013 7:52 am

I was just offered Patrick Corbin in a Dynasty league trade. I want to counter and swap Homer Bailey for Corbin. I feel that Corbin needs to repeat before I become a believer. What are your thoughts on Corbin V Bailey?

I think I would go with Corbin. Bailey is too flukey to me. It is really close between the 2 but between Baileys on again off again and the fact that Corbin is 3 years younger I would go Corbin

Corbin has been the flukey one while Bailey has been unlucky imo. Go check out their stats on fangraphs.com and you will see the evidence for yourself. I don't think you can go wrong with either, I'm a Bailey fan and would go with him but just don't be disappointed if you trade for Corbin and he regresses.

I agree, That's why I'm leaning towards a counter for Bailey. Homer still has a nice K rate, which could mean an inflated Era due to bad luck.

I would rather have Corbin. I don't like how many up and down games Bailey has had this season.

I like Bailey. His advanced stats are better plus I'd like to see Corbin repeat this.
