A month later Verly still sucks.
Not a surprise.

Here are the teams he gets for his last six starts of the season: Cle, @KC, KC, Sea, @Min, @Mia. If you have stuck with him this long, might as well ride out the rest of the season and hope for the best.

You were pretty quiet when his previous-month ERA was sitting at 3.02 a week ago. And 2.48 since he was last declared a write-off on July 26th. Ah, the joy of arbitrary end-points. Everybody is so quick to chime in at the most convenient times.

Lol really? I havent even thought about Verlander since I last posted in this thread. I avoided that guy like the plague in all my leagues so I have no real interest in what hes doing.
The only reason I even thought about this thread is because somebody happened to bump it to the top and Verlander had another terrible game right around that time - the kind of thing ESPN/MLB Network doesnt allow anyone to miss.

Fact remains, Verly is unreliable and nowhere near the same pitcher he was the past 2 years.
To say otherwise is (and has been for a few months) somewhat laughable.

Agreed, he's definitely not the same pitcher he was the past few years.
