I like Weaver, but the velocity dips are troubling (he's down to 86! on his FB now!!!!).
I sold on Weaver in one of my two dynasties this year as soon as I realized his velo was continuing to go down.
Don't get me wrong, I'll sell an arriving top SP prospect for an established pitcher. I've done it already this year twice: Cole and others for Strasburg, and Jose Fernandez for Felix Hernandez. I just would prefer the older pitcher be something along the lines of the upper ceiling of the prospect with peak years left. Then, your risk is covered. But Weaver's not worth Cole now in a redraft potentially, despite knowing how to pitch with a reduced velo. He's just not going to survive at that speed without giving up homers.viewtopic.php?f=26&t=463075&p=3629861#p3629861
