Several trade options. WHIR

12-team keeper league
Standard 10-categories (R,HR,RBI,SB,AVG and W,K,SV,ERA,WHIP)
We keep 4 hitters and 4 pitchers with no draft round penalty and no cap on how long we can keep someone

Roster
C Arencibia
1B Adrian Gonzalez
2B Pedroia
3B Miggy
SS Brad Miller
OF CarGo, Chris Davis, Myers, Rios
UTIL Encarnacion
BENCH Taveras, Leonys Martin
DL Evereth Cabrera

SP Kershaw, Verlander, Kuroda, Gallardo, Turner, Gee, Fife, Gausman
CL Jansen, Papelbon, Janssen, Romo
DL Wandy

I'm currently 1st in my division by 13.5 games and 1st overall in the league. I'm leading the league in every offensive category but I'm 10th in pitching. I can't keep 6 hitters (Miggy, Pedroia, CarGo, Davis, Myers, Encarnacion), so I'm willing to deal one to upgrade the staff.

Trade #1
GIVE: Adrian, Myers, Kuroda, Turner
GET: Shelby Miller, Fowler, Wade Miley, Betancourt

Trade #2
GIVE: Adrian, CarGo, Kuroda, Turner
GET: Shelby Miller, Fowler, Wade Miley, Betancourt, Carlos Santana

The obvious difference is Myers vs. CarGo. I do at least like getting Santana back in the second deal, as I could plug him right in at 1B. I'm a little hung up on giving 2 SP for 2 SP, as pitching is what I've set out to gain in the first place. However, the thought of Miller for the next 10 years is nice.

There are a few other options from other owners....

Trade #3
GIVE: Myers, Gee
GET: Corbin, Almonte

Trade #4
GIVE: CarGo, Gee
GET: Corbin, Ogando, Almonte

Trade #5
GIVE: CarGo
GET: My choice of 2 of Anibal Sanchez, Cole Hamels, Hudson, Hellickson, Gibson PLUS Holland

Trade #6
GIVE: Davis
GET: Bumgarner AND choice of Ryu, Fernandez, or Minor

Do any of these appeal as is? Anything I could modify? Or would you ride it out as is since I'm in 1st and try to trade an extra piece in the offseason? I admit that I can't help thinking long term and not having much after Verlander and Kershaw in 2014 isn't great. Be happy to clarify anything, and as always WHIR.

My honest opinion is that you're getting the short end on EVERY deal. Especially the ones where you're giving up CarGo. But in a keeper, gettin Shelby would be great. So I'd try to modify one of the first two deals. Maybe Myers and Adrian for Shelby and Corbin? Something along those lines?

Thanks in advance for your help on mine: viewtopic.php?t=463022

Unfortunately the person that has Miller doesn't have Corbin. The Miller owner doesn't have another top SP outside of Lynn, and I know he won't give both.

Pass on all of them. The one for Bumganer+ is not terrible, but I think I still pass.

I would also stop trying to work out the many for many deals. Just deal 1 for 1 or 2 for 1 and target quality for quality. If you trade Cargo, ask for Kershaw or instance. Or get 2 Sps like Cliff Lee and Sale or something along those lines. Otherwise you should keep Cargo.

Davis...Try to get Cliff Lee + another decent SP or something like that.

Adding the Mileys, Corbins, Hellicksons, Hudsons and Ogandos of the league are not helping you much imo.
