Who to drop for Jennings? WHIR

Postby RasmusFlow » Wed Jul 03, 2013 10:26 am

League is 10 team, 8 Keepers, H2H. Not looking to drop a pitcher, so here's my offence. Who should I drop for Jennings? Or should I just stay put?

My Team:
C-Victor Martinez
1B-Billy Butler
2B-Robinson Cano
3B-Miguel Cabrera
SS-Jean Segura
OF-Chris Davis
OF-Nate McClouth
OF-Michael Bourn
Util-Mark Trumbo
Util-Leonys Martin
Bn-Brett Gardner
DL-Troy Tulowitzki

Right now, I'm leaning towards Gardner.

EDIT: Jennings isn't a FA. I'm doing a trade that involves his Fielder + Jennings for my Tulo + throw in (he said anyone). Sorry, didn't know how to word the question properly, but essencially I am dropping someone for Jennings.

I would stay with Gardner at least for now. Jennings really hasn't really done anything too impressive to me this season. I would wait to see if Jennings starts to hit consistently before dropping Gardner for him.

This isn't a direct answer, but as much as I like Fielder, I'd keep Tulo. Butler may have not performed up to expectations but he is still only 27, the Royals offense has been better of late and Tulo might have a decent uptick in value when he comes back from injury. I feel that Jennings is a bit overrated, at least until he starts stealing more bases.

If you're going to do, Gardner is the pick. And I'll take Fielder over Tulo.

Yes, drop Gardner. Jennings has really picked it up lately, and is worth the add.

Here's mine, thanks in advance for your help: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=463022&p=3629417#p3629417

I guess give him Butler and you can keep both Jennings and Gardner nad have a nice balanced team with depth.
