Wheeler, Peralta, and draft pick for Hanley? WHIR ALWAYS

Okay I am working on the framework of a deal that would include Zack Wheeler, Jhonny Peralta, and a draft pick for Hanley Ramirez. Zack Wheeler would have great keeper value since he would be a 19th round pick in next years draft. Hanley has decent value since he could be a 3rd.

How high of a draft pick should I be willing to send in this deal though? What would you be willing to give up?

Yeah absolutely, this would just solidify my offense.

Yeah man...Hanley is raking...and like you said, hitting is tougher to find than pitching, especially at SS/3B

I like this deal for you. I wish I could be of more help though regarding the draft pick. I have never played in a league where I can trade picks, so I don't have anything to really compare it to. I'm just guessing here, but maybe like a 7th rounder, depending on how many players you keep.

I would do the deal, and I agree on maxing out at the 7th round. Wheeler is himself highly touted, and Hanley's got health issues.

I agree with the above advice, though I'd play up Hanley's health issues, Wheeler's potential and try not to give anything more than a 10th round pick. Its hard to estimate the value of a 10th rounder without knowing who is being kept, or who will be left by that point in the draft.
