Which One?

Postby camvz08 » Thu Jun 20, 2013 2:16 pm

10 team H2H league:

Which of these would you accept if either.....

I give: Buster Posey and Matt moore

I get: Cliff Lee and Justin Morneau

I could pick of A.J. Peirzynski or Miguel Montero off waiver wire to fill in for Posey.....

OR

I give: Jacoby Ellsbury and Matt Moore

I get: Cliff Lee and Justin Morneau

I would then place Morneau or Will Myers at DH in place of Ellsbury. Already have trout, j. uptown, and stanton.

Which one (if either) do I accept?

I would do the Ellsbury and Moore over Posey and Moore. Good catchers are hard to find.

Hmm. So trade Ellsbury and start Myers or someone at DH? Posey to Pierzynski is a bigger downgrade?

In my view, yes Posey to Pierzynski is big downgrade. I would think you could find someone to plug in at DH; however, a good catcher like Posey is hard to find.

Makes sense. I'm going to keep chewing on it a little more. Ellsberg has been great lately but Cliff Lee is a beast

Lucroy and M. Montero are also available on the wire if I wanted to go that route
