My Lester & Cespedes for Jered Weaver?

Postby LittleTree » Tue Jun 18, 2013 3:51 pm

I'm thinking about making an offer to try to acquire Jered Weaver. Considering the fact that he has been injured and didn't pitch particularly well before the injury (plus his team has not been very good) I was going to try to take flyer on Weaver betting on a resurgence. My league is a 10-team non-keeper league. My first offer to the other owner was Cespedes for Weaver straight up. He rejected it and said that if I include a starting pitcher then we would have a deal. I am thinking about including Lester in the deal along with Cespedes for Weaver. What do you guys think? Is Weaver worth it? Is Lester and Cespedes too much? Not enough? I will include my roster below. Any help is much appreciated and I will definitely help in return! WHIR 100%

I don't know, Weaver hasn't shown much so far. And Cespedes has alot of upside. I would prefer the Cespedes/Lester side of this trade.

I think Cespedes for Weaver straight up is fair. Other than that I think you would be giving up too much. However, if you still want to do this trade, the only pitcher I would maybe do this trade for would be Johnson/Cespedes for Weaver. Even then I still take the Cespedes side.

Cespedes and Lester is too much. Cespedes by himself might be a little too much
