Please rip apart my team, all comments welcome. I won last year and this year currently in third, clearly struggling a bit in pitching. Its very tough to trade in the league, but if I bait a couple hot batters maybe I could bring in some pitching. There are also some options on the wire; H- B Revere, C.Crisp, B. Gardner, J. Lowrie, D. Nava P - C. Kluber, J.Lackey, T. Wilhelmsen, R. Dempster, J.Vargas, D. Phelps, Edwin Jackson,
I'm in a 10 team Head-to-head keeper (12 of 24) league with 9 hit stats & 8 pitch stats. We are allowed 30 moves and 2 dl spots.
This is my team: C - Joe Mauer 1B - Joey Votto 2B - Jason Kipnis 3B - David Wright SS - Ian Desmond CI - Paul Goldschmidt MI – Jose Altuve LF - Melky Cabrera CF - Andrew McCutchen RF - Jay Bruce Util-M. Cuddyer DL – Carl Crawford DL - Ryan Braun Bn - A. Rendon
SP – Homer Bailey SP - Jonathon Niese SP – Kris Medlen RP - Craig Kimbrel RP –Casey Janssen P - Glen Perkins P - Chris Tillman BN - Alex Cobb BN- J. Parker Bn-J Samardzija Bn - Dan Straily DL - Brandon Beachy
What OF eligibility does Revere Crisp and Gardner have. I would rather have either of those if they have LF eligibility. Seriously Melky sucks and you could use some speed. I would try to move Braun for a stud starter if you can. I always find value in whatever a player can bring to the table without hurting you elsewise, accept that strategy and you become savvy. Find my Upton post could use your help there.
I would also try to get younger at 3b as well and deal Wright off for a younger 3b maybe Machado. Maybe Braun+Wright for Machado, good young stud LF, and something else maybe a low end ace like hmm Latos, Harvey, Minor or something like that...
