His last 3 starts read

CLE 6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 7 K
@BAL 6 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 7K
PIT 8 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 11 K

Granted it's not elite competition, but still, for a former top prospect, maybe we're looking at a post-hype breakout? I mean if Domonic Brown can do it? You have to at least like that he has now been consistently striking people out and that he is showing good command.

I picked him up for a spot start yesterday and am now considering holding onto him on a trial basis... He's been great for the last month and a half.

Enjoy the ride. He has the Tigers bats behind him. If he has figured things out, great. If he goes back to mediocrity, I doubt anyone will hesitate in dropping him. Good upside in picking him up.
