Yeah Mooch - Im still waiting for TOR fans to post on here.
Toronto Fan:
My biggest gripe is that my team is 0-2 against a team that lost 119 games last yr. We combined to score 3 runs against one of the worst P staffs from last yr. We let in 14 runs over those games as well. Our star SP got handled by the Tigers. Oh yeah - and this was all done on our home turf. Tonights game will determine if we get swept at home by the Tigers. What a great week.
Sorry, Mook, Jackal, and the rest - I just couldnt help myself.
So far (2 GAMES IN!!!) I'd say injuries. 3 Twins left their game vs. Cleveland last night. Joe Mauer left the park on crutches, and is day-to-day. Torii Hunter strained a hamstring. (Both on my fantasy team, dangit!!) Johan Santana had to take himself out in the fifth with arm troubles.
Saw Dmitri Young broke a bone in his leg, that's a tough start for Detroit, who REALLY didn't need that!
That's all I know of so far. This being my first year playing fantasy baseball, it does make it more interesting to check the box scores and news from across baseball, to see what's going on.
Here's to hoping those players get back soon.
TomS. '12 H2H season standings: Team 1 = 140 - 118 - 12, 4 OF 12 Team 2 = 84 - 97 - 9, 6 OF 8

My biggest gripe is that we seemed to have slipped into Bizzaro World.
I know that I will wake up and the Tigers will be comfortably in last place and I can safely tune out baseball to watch the NHL playoffs.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
easy to make jokes when you are sitting comfortably in 2nd place in the pick3 cornbred maxwell! (lol) No worries, I'm comming- much Like Jim Thome I'm a slow starter.
My biggest gripe: jose mesa. Lost a five dollar bet thinking he would blow the save.

Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

pick a pitcher, any pitcher...
Morris
Halladay
Santana
Dotel
Valverde
Pettite
Batista
Oswalt
Marte
Hudson
Not a win, save, or decent ERA among them, and they are all on one of my 2 fantasy teams...only redeeming pitchers I've got are Herges, Rhodes, and Foulke
