Evan Gattis is really making things difficult in Atlanta. I don't see how he can be benched at this point.

starting Hector Santiago tonight at home against Boston?
he has had some success. he was pitching well in his last start, until the 4th when he couldn't find the plate.
I can't help but to feel like he should be on the bench tonight.

Only in a world with Dusty Baker do you get someone with a sub .250 OBP facing one of the better pitchers in the game while batting 2nd... and of course going 4 for 4.

I needed Harvey to be superhuman to Win this week, in all likelihood... instead his worst start of the year, which still wasn't that bad.

I saw all of BJ Upton's ABs. He homered and just missed another. He's squaring things up more than I've seen in any stretch so far this season.

I think if you want in on this guy, you buy now. He's not going to get cheaper and I believe he's about to go crazy for a stretch like he's capable of. There are no doubt still pissed off owners out there. It sounds crazy to say for a guy hitting in the .150s, but I'd start making offers now.

I'd like to point out that Evan Gattis is now 3-6 with 3 HR and 7 RBI since I dropped him last weekend.

That is all.

C: AJ Ellis
1B: Lance Berkman
2B: Ian Kinsler
3B: Brett Lawrie
SS: Troy Tulowitzki
OF: Giancarlo Stanton
OF: Curtis Granderson
OF: Alex Rios
UTIL: Todd Frazier

That's my team in our 20 team keeper league. Even without Stanton doing much and Granderson on the DL for April, my offense was really clicking.

As soon as the calendar turned to May, my whole offense has gone to absolute s**t. Kinsler and Stanton are on the DL, Frazier forgot how to hit, and Granderson/Lawrie have been terrible so far. I keep looking at my team, and everything looks like it should be working on paper, but mustering up even 3 HR/15 RBI in a week has been a struggle lately.

I know I need to be patient, but that gets harder and harder with every 3-7 loss. Someone please talk me off a ledge.

Also, I am absolutely benching Santiago against the Red Sox tonight (and Hammel against the Yanks too). C'mon Samardzija and Shields!
