I would love to see him hit 3 homeruns and then have the Cubs pitcher of the moment try to drill him in the back...only have Puig to recognize being intentionally beamed in the back by the baseball.......so he jumps up and switches to the other side of the plate and knocks the ball out of the park during his 4th AB and avoids being hit.....for his 4th HR of the day.

I assume the delay in Colorado posting their lineup thus far is out of indecision over whether CarGo will be able to play.

Edit: Don Best tweets- Colorado #Rockies LF Carlos Gonzalez (knee) upgraded to expected to be in the starting lineup today vs. #Padres (COL -130, O/U 10½u15). #MLB

Oops, meant to post this in the daily thread. Well CarGo is in at any rate.

You can make up for your egregious error by at least givings Yasiel his proper due. Whether that be in the form of generic OMG NO WAY! type comment, a pun on his ridiculous name, or other.

The Braves announcers did make note of the fact that he has not handled pitches thrown inside too well. The base hit on his last AB of his 3 hit game came on a ball that was once again place out and over the plate or away. He has KILLED those pitches....even seemed to lean off of or dive off of the plate to attack pitches that were off of the plate and out of the strike zone...reminiscent of Vlad or Manny Ramirez. Puig seemed to be frozen a couple of times on balls that were thrown in. He check swung on a pitch which would have been strike 3 and he instantly lined the next pitch into right field when the Braves chose not to attack him inside again. It will be interesting to see how Arizona's staff handles him.

is that better? :-?

There might be something to this 'throw him inside' stuff. It's strange, but he stands in the front of the batter's box. He's looking to go away virtually every time and hoping to react on anything inside.
