Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Wednesday that the club has discussed calling up prospect outfielders Yasiel Puig and Joc Pederson.

Still has nowhere to play unless Ethier missed yesterday cause hes hurt (or they finally do a trade) but youre likely going to have to add him anyway if you want him if this gets some more traction or even before that. Im sure hes gone in many keeper or deep redraft leagues

Mattingly said questions about Puig/Pederson should be asked to Colletti. Doesn't sound like anything imminent.

A lot of folks have been adding Gausman while everyone was saying he was NOT coming up so I think statement still applies if you want him gotta add him ahead of this.

What kind of numbers is Puig posting in the minors right now?

Pederson has been even better so far. Pederson's ceiling isn't as high, but he could be closer.

maybe one of them could come up, but I can't see how both of them could come up. not unless there is another injury to Kemp or Crawford.
I don't think there is any need for either one of them to come up anytime soon. they are both still young and only playing in AA. no guarantee they could come up and do any better than Scott Van Slyke, who was tearing up AAA before coming up.

Puig is in AA because their AAA club is a PCL team. I think they learned from Jerry sands that any marginal MLB prospect can crush there.

Puig was also on the DL for 7 days which shows the discrepancy in the comparison

Andre Ethier is out of Wednesday's lineup, in part because Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said he wanted to put out his "most competitive lineup" and one that would "fight the hardest."
