Victorino for Iwakuma?? WHIR

Postby snaddles » Tue May 21, 2013 1:06 pm

Hey Guys,

Im in a 5x5 AL only roto keeper league. Just pulled off a trade and was hoping to get your feedback:

Got:
Brandon Moss $15/2014
Hisashi Iwakuma $5/2014

Gave:
Andrew Bailey $1/2015
Shane Victorino $22/2015

Im currently first in saves, but the rest of my pitching stats are atrocious...last in everything (thanks Blanton, Worley, Davis, Maruer!) What are your thoughts here? Good move?

Thanks!

Very good trade for you IMO, especially since Victorino is dealing with injuries.

Agreed, I think this is a fair trade and the move helps you.

You definitely upgraded in both categories...My gut instinct was yes iwakuma, because I am a Mariners homer. But his stats have been pretty lights out this year with a 5-1 record and a 2.37 era. and Moss is a definite upgrade over Victorino in my opinion. Alot more potential. Just curious do you plan on keeping either of them even if you dont my opinion stays the same ? ;-D

Thanks guys! I think Iwakuma is a definite keeper (assuming he doesnt get dealt to the NL, knock on wood) and depending on how Moss does the rest of the year, I think Moss could be as well. I wouldnt have kept Victorino and Bailey at $1 is a definite keeper, however I have no clue if hes going to pitch more than 50 innings
