Does anyone think he will right the ship and become the starter? I just dropped Ruiz for him. I'm pretty but getting the same production NOW as Ruiz but with better upside. What does everyone think? Thank.

Ok I didn't see that thread this morning. Well it sucks but then again I wasn't getting much from Ruiz either lol. If Montero doesn't do anything there are still mediocre catchers like Salty on our FA list.

Remember back when we saw the shocking news that two stud prospects were traded for each other which rarely happens.

I still can't figure out if there was a winner or just two losers from that deal~.

a thread in this section I think would be better than the draft/trade section which would only get buried.

I want to believe in Jesus.

it looks like maybe bad luck?
.231 BABIP with 19.8 LD%. also 38.3 FB%.
74.2 contact %.
he doesn't strike out a lot, 19.1% this season.
his walks have improved this season to 7.3%, from 5.2% last season.

I have no idea on his catching ability, so can't comment there. if he's not that good at the catching position, that alone could effect his playing time.

I picked up Montero in a 16 team league a few days ago, thinking/wondering if he could DH with Morales at 1B and Smoak on the bench. then I notice Smoak has 2 HR in his last 3 games.

it's like WHOA, Montero can't grab the catchers spot over Kelly Shoppach.
