Cingrani vs archer

Postby boizzy33 » Tue May 21, 2013 2:46 am

Another owner just dropped cingrani Due to his recent demotion I am wondering is it worth dropping the potential in Chris Archer to pick up cingrani for when he makes his return. He Looked so good early this season pitching in the majors I want to know how others feel between these two. Thanks.

These guys are so close, it's such a subjective call to choose either one. Cingrani has more or less proven he can take over in the rotation if someone gets hurt, but otherwise the reds rotation is set. The Rays already chose Odorizzi over Archer, but their rotation has enough junk that I could see Archer coming up as well.

I'd probably prefer to have Cingrani over Archer, but really at this point it's all about who will get called up again first.
