I've been trying to work a deal out with a good buddy of mine, seem to always be the fairest ones. I think I finally might have something. He is in need of some speed, has some power and pitching to give, and I'm in need of those.

10 Team Yearly Redraft-H2H-5X5 (Batting Categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG. - Pitching Categories: K, W, SV, ERA, WHIP)

13 Position Spots-9 Pitching Spots-4 Bench-1 DL

MY TEAM - Hanley Are You Aoki?
C - Brian McCann
1B - Joe Mauer
2B - Chase Utley
3B - Miguel Cabrera
SS - Josh Rutledge
2B/SS - Jason Kipnis
1B/3B - Mike Moustakas

UTIL - Matt Carpenter
BN - Austin Jackson (Injured)
BN - J.P. Arencibia

While I definitely think it upgrades your rotation I dont really see where Butler would fit in. JP is good trade bait for your though as you are stacked at catcher (Mauer is still C eligible right?) . I dont know if Oswaldo is worth getting rid of both Gordon and Jackson though. I would stay put as it is and consider your self lucky that you only have two players on the dl ;-D .

Well, the whole idea about Butler started when Morneau was struggling a bit more (I don't have much 1B/DH depth outside of Twins players). So my hope was to move Mike Moustakas out (don't even really know why I have him, faith I guess), and move Morneau around and put Butler in DH or CI spot. I just was willing to deal Gordon and Jackson (depth at OF) but maybe that's not worth it for me.

If Chris Davis took Butler's spot in the deal--what do we think of that? I wouldn't lose as much OF that way, and I'd still get 1B and DH help. I feel he may actually be higher on Davis than Butler, though, so I don't know if that would make it easier to pull the trigger or harder.

I also was thinking of adding MY: D. Holland for HIS: Ryan Dempster to the deal.

I'd do it and then look to trade some of your lower end pitching for a closer or look to get some help at OF.

How about AJax and JP for Butler and Andrew Bailey (yes he's hurt but he'll regain the closer's role coming off the DL)...temporary hurt to depth is ok for the long term dividend. Maybe you can steal him away. Do not trade away 2 decent OF..
