5/10-5/12 Cheering, Venting, & My Almost 30 Soapbox

I would like to take a moment to thank Ryan Zimmermann for effing up my week. With no starting pitchers going today for either team, I am down 1 QS and .03 in whip. If he just makes that throw in the fifth, strasburg cruises on and I would get a QS and lead in whip. What should be a 6-3-1 win is now a 5-5 tie. Boo Ryan Zimmerman.

Maybe I'll get lucky and relievers today will fix the whip situation.

I think this is one of the best fantasy teams I've ever had for my main 12 team league. I'll be really disappointed if I don't win the regular season.

The problem is the following lineup would be cruising to an easy 1st right now. The best fantasy team you could ever draft is probably in close to last place right now~.

C - Rosario
1B - Berkman/Morneau platoon
2B - Kinsler
3B - Longoria
SS - Zobrist
OF - Trout
OF - Bruce
OF - Gordon
Util - Gardner
Bench - Dee Gordon
DL - Heyward

SP - Hamels
SP - Shields
SP - Sabathia
SP - S. Miller
SP - CJ Wilson
SP - Liriano
RP - Perkins
RP - Perez
RP - Bell
Burton
DL - Putz

Heyward will be back this week so he will be inserted back in the lineup once he shows he can hit, then I'll likely look to trade an outfielder. I kind of need Gardner in there right now for steals. I might see if I can deal Wilson + outfielder for a better starter. I was able to get Heyward in the 8th round since we turned it into a keeper league last season. My only regret right now is picking Trout over Braun, I got nervous about the steroid stuff which was really stupid of me, but Trout has been pretty good anyways. I was platooning Morneau/Moss before but then the Berkman owner dropped him to activate Freeman, so I used my waiver on him.

I'm going to lose this week because the Mets couldn't score a single run for Matt Harvey on Tuesday... :-[

I started Lincecum today in both leagues I own him. I figured a free swinging team like Atl is just what he needs and he is better at home. So far so good but I do worry about that 3rd time through the order.

they apparently announced at the Rockies game today that it was Charlie Blackmon's first MLB game. except he has played games in both 2012 and 2011.

Milone is frustrating. my plan was to only start him at home. so his last game I didn't start him at Cleveland. 1 ER. so today at Seattle I figured I would give him a go, now 4 ER through 4.
