He's a guy I've just never ever thought was a good pitcher. Even in 2010 I wasn't a believer. Have never owned him, never will. I truly believe this is a ride that's going to end abruptly and harshly. Highest Strand Rate and K/9 and HR/9 of his career through six weeks. I don't buy it. If I owned him, I'd ride it as long as I could if I couldn't dump him, but I'd be ready for the wheels to fall off soon.
Buchholz has always had great stuff. The difference this year is his command of his fastball has been vastly improved. He is getting a lot of looking called strikes.
His FIP last night was actually the lowest he has had all year, he just got bit by the BABIP bug to a tune of .438.
