5x5 NL, 12 team, $260, 12% inflation.11 keepers Almost all of the name stars are taken in each position, most at greatly inflated prices. only three of us have freeze lists with substantial profit and two of us have 170-200 to spend. Rest have 60-110. Any idea of how to handle bidding/budgeting when money is so skewed? Other than closers of all types of players only Johnson & Schilling Thome are worth more than $25, and only aprox 10 $20+ players available

I agree with wrveres except I would be careful throwing out those Baltimore and Tampa Bay guys in an NL only league. You might get stuck with them...lol.
I think you can control the auction and get a lot of the quality that is left. Make a list of the guys you definately want to have and the prices you want to pay for them. Then stick to your plan. It appears no one else can take on more than one 20 plus guy without killing his team.
