Why on earth would anyone trade kershaw for Hamilton? I have Hamilton and I would hit the accept button lightning fast if that was offered to me.

To note: I would have happily accepted that trade before the season started as well.

Nice trade, BL. ;-D

Not in my eyes. Fernandez is a borderline free agent in that league and Arencibia is better than what I have in Montero. You obviously see more in Fernandez than I do, but the deal was Kershaw for Hamilton in my book.

Just for the record so everyone see's the entire deal.

I give up Hamilton and Jose Fernandez for Kershaw and JP Arencibia.

I officially dumped Hosmer last night in a 12 teamer.
Have Votto at 1B and Craig/Lawrie fighting for UT time so Hosmer is never really in my lineup.
And hes shown no sign of power at all, so not much use for him.
Cant keep him around when productive players like Gardner and Kubel are sitting on waivers.

Also dumped Edwin Jackson, which I shouldve done about 4 starts ago. He is just a complete mess.

Just did the same. Aram back from DL and dropped Hosmer to put him back in lineup. And now Chris Davis hurt. Hope it's nothing serious. Pujols my starting 1B.

Adios Hosmer. Goodbye Espinosa. Happy trails, Moustakas (although he might come back around).

This is the only drafted player I have dumped this year. I thought long and hard before drafting him but not long and hard enough. Never have liked him all that much so it wasn't hard to can him. Picked up the injured Chacin instead and what a difference that made.

In my 12 team league, players I drafted that I've dropped so far are Adam Laroche and Josh Beckett. I missed the boat on a 1B in the draft and ended up with Laroche and Morneau, I dropped Laroche for Moss and just platoon Morneau/Moss now. With Beckett, I thought there was a chance he'd be good in the NL West but he still sucks.
