dang ya'll dropped melky already? im still holding onto him because of how strong that lineup is. my league isnt that deep and i can easily pick up a good hitter like moss or donaldson, should i just pull the trigger?

My lineup is due Sunday at midnight. Ike Davis has a 50/50 shot of making the team. And that's a generous 50/50.

I'd hang onto him. He's capable of some crazy streaks when he gets going.

I'm keeping the faith with Melky, but I'm looking for any excuse to drop Davis (shallow league). I'm growing slightly impatient with Fernandez's numbers, but he still has some rope.

And I may well be the one picking up Walker wherever he's dropped. His start was mediocre, but not disastrous, and the recent injury was flukey. I worry about injuries with him, but not this type of injury.

I didn't like Melky going into the season as he was being insanely overrated by a good 5+ rounds, but he still ended up on one of my teams where nobody had any faith in him. I sat him last week for Brown and Marte but since Stanton got hurt for that team he may sneak into the lineup next week, depends on how healthy Aramis looks and if Moustakas turns it around.

I cut bait on Haren in one league but it was a 12 team league with shallow benches, daily moves and unlimited moves so he was the type of pitcher that was pretty expendable. Haven't really cut bait on any other higher profile name, I consider April a complete crapshoot that means almost nothing personally. They have to struggle deep into May for me to change my opinion on anyone established.

yeah he's capable of a crazy streak ..going 0 for 30.

Not sure what was the love-fest for Melky. When Toronto signed him I already had my doubts despite the fans thinking he was a truely a legit .300+ hitter.

Even at his best, he gives you limited power, limited speed and impatience.

And now you have the post-steroid issue to really add uncertainty. I don't know why anyone would still be touching this guy.

I'm 99% there on dropping Ike for Dom. Brown.
