  • Josh Johnson allowed six runs on eight hits and three walks over just 4 2/3 frames in a rehab start with Triple-A Buffalo Thursday
  • In his 4 Bisons starts, Ricky Romero has pitched 13 innings, allowed 23 hits, 20 walks, with just 3 strikeouts.
  • R.A. Dickey gave up six runs and 11 hits in six innings Thursday in a loss to the Braves.

Johnson, Reyes, Buehrle and Bonifacio are obviously bad luck. Just ask the Marlins.

Marlins are the smartest team baseball. All those players + Hanley have been complete duds since they left Miami. What a shrewd move.

I liked the moves for Marlins for baseball reasons. I still don't like the moves as a baseball fan though. I would not be borderline furious if I was a Marlins fan. The Marlins biggest problem wasn't that they traded the players but that they signed Reyes, Buehrle and Bell to fat contracts in the first place.

Morrow on DL
Romero outrighted and there were no takers for him 8-o
so he's off the 40 man roster and in triple A soon to be in single A with his $30 contract
