He's a player that I've always liked and like Chris Davis for years I thought he was jerked around by various teams and in various positions. He's raking right now in Boston when he gets playing time. Do y'all see any possibilities for him working himself into a full time role? I could see him hitting .280 with 25+hr in a full season.

I've always been a Carp believer and when the Sox got him this year I was thrilled. He looked awesome in the spring and it has carried over to the season. If he gets a full time gig he should be mixed league worthy.

He is unlikely to receive consistent playing time right now. While Victorino was hurt he was platooning with Gomes in left while Nava was playing right field. Victorino is returning today, so that likely puts Nava back into his platoon role with Gomes, and Carp goes back to backing up left and first and occasionally pinch hitting.
