i want to get a fantasy keeper league going, and am looking for others who are interested. i'm a tigers fan, hence posting on the tigers board, but that's not necessary to join the league. anyone who's looking to just have a fun thing to do each season is welcome.
i'd like a rotisserie style as opposed to head-to-head. large roster, keep most of the players each season. would be a free league, as i've got no job, but maybe could become a paying league with prizes in the future, but that would only be if everyone in the league wanted to. i play mostly for fun, not extremely serious about it. i draft mostly based on players i like, just don't have the patience to check stats on all kinds of players. i usually try to draft a tigers player on my fantasy teams, even if there's someone better available, just 'cause they're my favorite team and i like having them represented.
the rules aren't hard and fast or even completely decided yet. i'm open to ideas from other on most of them.
i'd probably do it on yahoo, as it's the best free service i know.
i think a minor-lreague system would be cool to have, but know of know free sites that can be done on. if anyone does know, please share.
so, basically i'm just looking for some fellow fans to have fun with. people that will look forward to playing each year, and aren't out just to beat the snot out of every other team.
