Pujols for Holliday...

Postby dracovonborax » Thu May 02, 2013 11:37 am

I am currently running with Ike Davis at 1b and can move Todd Frazier or Kendres Moralis in to cover. Only other LF i have is Crawford but he's been on fire, day to day atm however. I think i would do this deal in a heartbeat if Alberts feet weren't hurting him and he has been heating up so i am tempted. Thoughts... thank you.

Tough call. Both guys have struggled so far. But both will pick it up. Pujols (despite his feet hurting) still has a higher ceiling with more HR and RBIs, but lower BA. And he is bound to pick it up. Plus Pujols is an upgrade over Ike Davis and you already have Crawford in LF. So I would do the trade.

A declining Pujols is still better than Holliday at the moment, so I'd do it.
